Security guards advised hotel clients to stay inside the hotel lobby when using cellular phones because outside the hotel on the street was not safe where there are homeless people wondering around. Saturday market is nearby. No shower gel or body wash shampoo provided. No kettle in the room and no drinking water provided.

What a find. Great location (for us), just a short walk to lapa or santa teresa if needed. Good size room with everything we needed and plenty of choice for breakfast.. Super helpful, friendly staff. The doorman made it feel like we were returning home when we had been out for the day. That's a skill.

Very friendly and helpful staff who allowed me to leave my bags in the hotel early in the morning before check-in. Nice, comfortable room, great pool bar. Location okay, at least in daytime.
